Lucknow University, established in 1920, is a public state university in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is the only state university in the state to receive "Category-I" university status and an A++ grade from the NAAC. With 556 colleges, 47 departments, 17 institutes, and 10 faculties, it offers over 100 courses at various levels. Admissions are based on university/national-level entrance exams and accept scores from CUET UG, CUET PG, and JEE Main exams. With a student population of over 16,000, Lucknow University has signed MOUs with over 70 national and international universities for academic and research collaborations.
