Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) is the oldest and biggest university in Chhattisgarh, having been founded in 1964. PRSU has a "B++" grade from the NAAC and is ranked 151-200 among India's best institutions by NIRF 2023. The university's sprawling 300.16-acre campus is located in Raipur, the western portion of Chhattisgarh's capital. There are 100 faculty members and more than 5000 students enrolled at PRSU. PRSU provides UG, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma, Doctoral, and Post Doctoral programs through its 29 departments and 156 affiliated colleges. The results of the entrance exam are used to determine admission to PRSU.
