Located in Sonipat, Haryana, Ashoka institution is a private research institution that was founded in 2014. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has acknowledged the university. The institution offers courses that concentrate on the Liberal Arts and Humanities stream across more than 20 schools and departments.

Numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs with a range of specialisations are available at Ashoka University. Ashoka's flagship program is the Young India Fellowship. Additionally, the university provides students with a 5-day Lodha Genius Program (LGP) and Young Scholars Program. The Institute also offers courses for majors and minors. It currently includes seven academic centres that provide collaborations focused on research. The Ashoka Aptitude Test is the only factor used to determine admission to UG programs. Only Young India Fellowship alumni are eligible to apply for admission to the M.A. program in Liberal Studies. Students having a relevant undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for an M.A. in Economics. SAT, ACT, CUET, and GATE scores are also accepted by the university for admission.

Located in Sonipat, Haryana's Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Ashoka University's campus spans 25 acres. Eight professors, twenty associate professors, and more than seventy-five assistant instructors make up its highly skilled and helpful faculty.
