Act No. 27 of 2018 of the Rajasthan State Legislature created Apex University (AU), Jaipur. It is a private university that was founded in 1965. It has been approved by the AICTE and acknowledged by the UGC. Forbes India ranked Apex University as Rajasthan's top emerging university. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the Bar Council of India (BCI) have also given their approval to the university.
