Originally founded as Christ College in 1969, Christ institution Bangalore is a reputable private institution in India. The UGC designated Christ University a deemed-to-be university in 2008 after granting it autonomy in 2004. The NAAC awarded the university a "A+" grade for accreditation. According to the NIRF 2023 rankings, Christ University is ranked 67th in India. Christ University was ranked 60th in management and 13th in law by the NIRF. Christ University typically has six campuses in Bangalore, Delhi NCR, and Pune, with 30,000 students enrolled.
